The zoo is a unique blend of a zoo and a nature walk, providing an amazing experience for visitors.
- The zoo is located on NH-44, on the way to the revered Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.
- It is the largest zoo in North India, spread over 162 hectares (3200 kanals) in Khanpur, Nagrota, on the outskirts of Jammu City.
