Padri

Padri

Located 40 km from Bhaderwah-Chamba road, at an elevation of 10,200 feet, Padri is a breathtaking 'Gali' (mountain pass) known for its undulating landscape and heavy snowfall, which can reach up to 4 meters. This stunning destination is a popular picnic spot in Bhaderwah, attracting visitors from far and wide.
As the highest point on the Bhaderwah-Chamba road, Padri offers a surprise package of gentle curves and slopes, covered with a lush green carpet of grass. The serene atmosphere of the meadow is briefly disrupted in July every year, when thousands of pilgrims undertaking the famous Mani-Mahesh Yatra pass through Padri.
In addition to its natural beauty, Padri offers an exciting experience - a thrilling horse ride on the meadow. Visitors can explore the picturesque landscape on horseback, taking in the stunning views and creating unforgettable memories."
