Avati swami Temple

Location: Village Jaubrar, Pulwama district, also along the right bank of the Jhelum River.
Architectural Features:
The main shrine is built on a double base with smaller shrines surrounding it on four sides.
Sculptures and Carvings on pilasters include:
Vishnu with consorts Lakshmi and Bhumi.
Two parrots.
A string of dhoti-clad men and women.
Figures of a king and queen.
Garuda engraved in circular panels.
Material Used: Solid grey granite stones.
Destruction: The temple was destroyed by Sikandar Butshikan during the 14th century.
Current State: The temple ruins now stand in a 20-foot-deep pit.
Artifacts: Several temple antiquities are housed in the Shri Pratap Singh Museum, Srinagar.

These temples, though in ruins, reflect the grandeur of Kashmiri temple architecture and hold immense historical and cultural significance.
