Mangla mata mindir Palma

Mangla mata mindir Palma

Located in the village of Bhawani, Tehsil Nowshera, approximately 70 km from Rajouri, Mangla Mata Dev Asthan is a revered temple with a rich history. Originally situated in Hamirpur (now in Pakistan) as Mangal Mai, the temple was relocated to its current site in 1965 AD, when the construction of the Mangla Dam began.
According to legend, a Brahmin named Late PanditNihal Chand from Bhawani village had a dream in which Mangla Mata appeared and instructed him to relocate her shrine from Hamirpur to the forests of Bhawani. Following the dream, PanditNihal Chand discovered the natural rock formations (pindies) of Mangal Mai in a cave, which are now worshipped as the sacred shrine.
Every year, during the Navratras, a grand congregation takes place at Mangla Mata Temple, attracting a large number of devotees who come to pay their respects and seek the blessings of the divine goddess. The temple's serene surroundings and the natural beauty of the cave make it a peaceful and spiritually uplifting experience for all who visit."
