Parihaspura

The monastery, or rajavihara, is a quadrangle with 26 cells, a courtyard, and a colonnade. Excavations have uncovered various architectural elements, including carved atlantes, trefoiled arches, and stone drains. A silver coin hoard was discovered in one of the cells, dating back to the time of kings Vinayaditya, Vigraha, and Durlabha. The complex showcases the region’s rich cultural heritage and architectural excellence.
