Sharda Temple Tirthbal (tithwal)

The newly reconstructed Sharda Temple, located in Teetwal village, Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, is a significant cultural and religious landmark. The original ShardaPeeth, situated in the Neelum Valley of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, was an ancient center of learning and one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. With a rich history dating back to the 6th century CE, it was a prominent temple university in the Indian subcontinent, attracting scholars and devotees from far and wide.
