In 2023, a replica of the Sharda Peeth temple was inaugurated in Teetwal, Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, near the Line of Control. This initiative aims to honor the historical and spiritual significance of Sharda Peeth for Kashmiri Hindus who cannot visit the original site.

It is located between the Hall of Fame & the Magnetic Hill. It is Kali mata temple. The Kali mata idol is quite grand with 6 arms & there are some other idols as well. The face of Kali mata’s is covered with a cloth due to religious reasons & which is removed only for 2-3 days in a year during an annual festival.
