This mela is held on the banks of
the holy Devika River in Udhampur
town. It is a three-day event that
attracts a large number of visitors
and devotees from different areas
of Jammu and Kashmir. The festival
is significant for its cultural and
religious importance, and it also
serves as a celebration of the
Punjabi New Year (Baisakhi).
